You can do this yourself, in the app or on the website. Nobody needs to approve it and there is no form to wait on.
All of it, at once, permanently. Not hidden, not deactivated:
Any active subscription is cancelled first, so nothing is billed after you leave.
Moderation records. If a moderator ever acted on something you posted, that record survives. It describes what a moderator did, not who you are, and deleting it would erase the only account of a decision that affected other members.
Tribes you founded. A tribe with other people still in it is not deleted with you — leadership passes to the longest-standing remaining member. A tribe nobody else ever joined is removed. Your own membership and posts go either way.
Accounting records. Where tax or anti-fraud law requires an invoice or transaction record to be retained, it is kept for the statutory period and for nothing else. Payment processors such as Stripe hold their own records under their own policies.
Immediately. The deletion runs as a single database transaction — it either completes in full or nothing changes, so there is no half-deleted state where some of your data has gone and the rest has not. Encrypted nightly backups age out on their normal 30-day cycle.
There is no recovery window and no archive to restore from. Support cannot bring the account back. If you want your journal, export it before you delete. Signing up again later creates a new account with nothing in it.
Use password reset to get back in, then follow the steps above. If that is not possible, email support@money-circle.net from the address on the account and ask for deletion. We may need to confirm the address belongs to you before acting, which protects you from somebody else deleting your account.
